Dr. Prachi Risbud is a Consultant Fertility Specialist at Anmol Fertility & IVF Centre, Vile Parle & Dr. Parulekar Maternity & Surgical Nursing Home, Jogeshwari.
After completing graduation (MBBS) from the prestigious Seth G.S. medical college and KEM hospital, Mumbai with scoring the distinctions throughout, Dr. Prachi further went on to pursue a post graduation in the subject of her passion, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She earned a degree of M.S in OBGYN from Seth G.S. medical college and KEM hospital, Mumbai in 2008. She is a certificate holder for comprehensive course in Ultra-Sound, Doppler & Fetal Medicine from Wadia Hospital, Mumbai.
Her interest for IVF was initiated early in her career and she further enhanced her skills in fertility treatments and endoscopy with a fellowship programme in reproductive medicine from Sushrut Assisted Conception Clinic by ICOG FOGSI. She pursued her special interest in Reproductive Endocrinology and infertility further by completing her advanced training in Reproductive medicine, recognised by FOGSI in 2017.
She has been awarded with Dr BN Purandare prize, Dr Adi Dastur prize( Gold medal) in FCPS and Dr Dina Patel prize( Gold medal) in DGO. She has won the best paper presentation prize in 24th CME( 2009) Pune Obstetrics and Gynaecology society , the best paper presentation award in Infertility at Maharashtra Chapter of ISAR 2017, and also she has been a part of the expert panel at ISRO-AHMADABAD SATELLITE conference in Feb. 2007, under FOGSI-ICOG program. She is the recipient of prestigious Dr. R. D. PANDIT award, winning the first prize consecutively for 2 years, 2016-2017 & 2017-2018. She is a life member of FOGSI, ISAR & MOGS.
She has a special interest in the field of Reproductive Medicine and has 11 years of clinical practice experience. She constantly keeps herself updated with active participation in conferences and CMEs. Her area of interest lies in reproductive physiology and endocrinology and is adept in managing various fertility cases including poor responders, PCOS and recurrent implantation failure. “Nothing brings more joy to the family than the cries of a newborn, and I am committed to help my patients experience such Anmol Joy”, says Dr. Prachi.
